Whether an experienced shot, lady, junior, complete beginner, a visit to Brook Bank will provide an invaluable aid in the skill of shooting. All newcomers receive the necessary instruction on safe shotgun handling and gun fit. We provide a comprehensive service and expert tuition is at hand for those of you who want to improve your aim.
Have-a-Go (Shooting Experience)
For those people wishing to enjoy their time with friends at a new activity, Brook Bank offers an ideal setting to enjoy the Cheddar valley country air and break a few clays! Parties and individuals are escorted around the course with one of our instructors, to take advantage of the variety of targets, and ensure you hit a few clays in a safe and relaxed environment. All tuition, shotguns and cartridges are provided. Prices from £43 pp - fully inclusive. (Deposit required at the time of booking). These packages can be booked during our normal open hours and are suitable for beginners (non-Shotgun Certificate holders), as we include the hire of a shotgun.
Experienced shooters
Comprehensive 1-hour lesson can be arranged by appointment, to determine master eye and instruction in the discipline of your choice, from £60 per hour, plus clays and cartridges. Whether tackling those difficult game birds or improving your clay shooting average at trap or skeet - Brook Bank can help. The 1-hour lesson is suitable for regular (shotgun owners) shooters.
