Brook Bank Shooting Ground is owned by former England clay shooting team member Wesley Hann and his wife Alison. Wesley is an APSI qualified Shooting Instructor and Gun Fitter, also has over 30 years experience as a full-time professional Gunsmith.
Alison is at the other end of the phone and is often the first person you will meet at Brook Bank.
Wesley & Alison are delighted to have Abbey Burton instructing at Brook Bank on a regular basis. Abbey is a CPSA qualified shooting instructor and a European and World Silver medal winner.
The shooting range was first established in 1962 and is the oldest clay shooting ground in Somerset, and one of the oldest in the country. Brook Bank has been awarded Premier status by the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association - the only PREMIER range in Somerset.
The luxurious shooting lodge, imported from the USA, features natural slate floors, under floor heating, integrated toilet facilities and comfortable chairs and sofas. The lodge also offers a small accessories shop, freshly ground coffee and home-made cakes. A full menu is available for corporate events.
We have been importing Q Line clay targets from Latvia for almost 4 years and are totally happy with the product. Q Line clays fly consistently good targets and early this year the pitch was changed and Q Line are now the most eco-friendly clay on the market - extremely low toxicity!
Q Line clays are wrapped in strong polythene and then boxed making them ideal for leaving next to a trap in the English weather!
